About Diane Simon This native of new York State was born in 1947. She first studied art as a student of her older sister, Pat, who was her grade school art instructor. Her love of art continued through high school under the guidance of E. Clyde Snyder II. Although her career did not include art study, her passion for creativity and expression never faltered. she became a hobby artist and followed along with self-help instructional guides until her retirement. Her work is an insight into personal struggle and success. she has participated in several local art shows and now teaches adults in her community. Her paintings have a broad spectrum from floral to landscapes, portraits to still life. Her works have been collected nationally and she enjoys sharing her love with all those who read between the brush strokes.
