Reference Sources Many of my paintings are from original sources, i.e. my own photography, places visited, en plein art experiences. I value the opportunity to share these images with you or my interpretation of my travels. Other paintings represented here are clearly copies from other artists original works. If this is the case, I will clearly identify, if known, the original artist's name and reference. In all cases, I will tell you that the work is not my own, but a copy of their work done with m interpretation. Some of the work here has been done while in a workshop with other artists. I will also disclose this information. In no way am I trying to represent their work as my own, but I am using their composition and trained eye as a means to expand my own technique and skill level for the pleasure of any who wish to explore my website. The purpose of this disclosure is to encourage you to use other works of art as your reference. the master's trained their students by encouraging them to copy their originals. In museums all over the world, you may observe students trying to master their skills by copying those masterful expressions before them on the walls. this website is not intended to represent all the work as my very own - but rather my growth in the watercolor medium.
